ABOUT US
REPREVE Renewables LLC, headquartered in Soperton, Georgia, is a commercial grower of giant miscanthus. Our variety, Freedom Giant Miscanthus, is superior in vigor and yield.
We strive to break barriers to planting viable biofuel feedstocks. By offering a high-yielding, low maintenance energy crop, we feel that growers can make a profit and contribute to America's foreign fuel independence.
It was founded three years ago to participate in the research and commercialization of viable non-food biomass solutions. Better biomass crops will:
- Increase ethanol production, thus decreasing the U.S.' dependency on foreign countries for oil
- Lead to tank-ready fuels to directly reduce foreign fuel imports
- Provide a clean source for biopower plants, thus reducing usage of coal and other polluting fuels
REPREVE Renewables has the exclusive license to commercialize Freedom Giant Miscanthus, an energy crop that out-produces other biomass sources.
